YKitchen Renovation for SW Residence
This house is located in a quiet suburban residential block in Los Angeles. The owner couple wanted to make their new kitchen airier, so I proposed a north-facing gable window which brings in natural light as well as the view of street tree canopy. At first the owner was not convinced by this idea. But as the framing construction progressed, they saw the effect of the gable window. After all the couple liked the idea so much they made the gable window even larger.
