YA concrete house in Shizuoka, Japan
A three story reinforced concrete building with exterior thermal insulation envelope. The design features: 'Nure-en' a south facing veranda open to the garden and an upstairs sunroom. For privacy protection, the sunroom windows are equipped with sliding wood slat screens. In addition, the design incorporates accessibility for the disabled. Our goal was to design an enhanced comfortable living environment for all ages.
